Paul graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Minor in Spanish. He subsequently enrolled at J. Reuben Clark Law School where he participated on the NALSA Moot Court team. While in law school, Paul assisted Professors James Backman and David Thomas in researching and updating Thomas and Backman on Utah Property Law. He also assisted Professor Thomas in updating Thompson on Real Property, Thomas Edition. During law school, Mr. Dodd interned/clerked for Judge Gary D. Stott at the Utah Fourth District Court.
After receiving his law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU in 2005, Paul began his legal career as an associate attorney for the Provo, Utah law firm Hadley and Associates. He joined Fillmore Spencer in February of 2007. Paul focuses his practice in the areas of construction law, mechanics' liens, family law, landlord tenant disputes, land use planning, zoning and general real property issues, as well as general civil litigation and appeals. He is fluent in Spanish.
